Notting Hill has fast become one of London's most popular residential areas, abounding with restaurants, bars, shops, and the celebrated Portobello Market. Kensington Gardens, Holland and Hyde Parks are a few minutes walk away.

The nearest underground station is Ladbroke Grove (Hammersmith and City Lines) or Holland Park (Central Line). However, nearby Notting Hill Gate is served by three different tube services, namely the Central, Circle and District Lines. There are several bus routes that stop in Ladbroke Grove only yards from the property and there are usually plenty of black cabs which can be flagged down in the same area.

The building has been tastefully divided into five fully furnished, self contained apartments, each occupying one floor. The apartments overlook, to the rear of the property, a large secluded garden square which is available for residents' use only. Each centrally heated apartment has two twin bedded rooms, a very well-equipped kitchen, lounge/dining room and bathroom, along with cable television, telephone and video entryphone. Wireless broadband internet is also available free of charge.

The prices are inclusive of electricity, gas, hot water, bed linen, towels, colour television and central heating. The housekeeper cleans the apartments daily, Monday to Friday.

arrivals and departures:

We are able to arrange an airport transfer service using private cars or people carriers. The driver will have the keys to your apartment and after meeting you outside the baggage reclaim area, will take you directly to Elgin Crescent. This service is less expensive than using taxis. Please indicate when booking if you would like us to organise this service for you. We can also make arrangements for return transfers.

Alternatively, if you would prefer to make your own arrangements, please let us know as we will have to arrange for your access to the apartment. Flats are normally available after 2 p.m. and must be vacated by 11 a.m., to ensure that they are serviced ready for the next booking. In the event that you wish to arrive early or stay late, please mention this when booking and we will try to accommodate you.

parking:

Elgin crescent was built long before cars were thought of and parking is at meters which are limited in numbers. The area is well served by public transport and we would advise against using private cars.

pets:

We regret we are unable to accommodate birds and animals.

deposit/payment:

The rental is £1095 per week. In addition, a security deposit of £200.00 is required at the time of booking. Full payment is required at least six weeks before arrival. Please note that payments can only be in pounds sterling (cheque with a banker's card, traveller's cheques, cash or the following credit/debit cards:
